You may find yourself very annoyed if someone uses your pictures without your permission, especially if they don't give you any credit. The best way to prevent such situations is to place a watermark on the images. ImgWater offers a quick and simple way to watermark your photos. It allows you to apply a text watermark, with custom font and opacity settings. The best part is that it takes only a few seconds to complete the operation.

ImgWater is compatible with all popular Windows versions and it doesn't need to be installed like other applications. All you have to do is extract its executable file from an archive, after which you can run the application right away. There is no need to install any prerequisite tools and you don't have to sacrifice too much disk space.

Watermarking a picture is a straightforward procedure. Once you import an image on the application's compact user interface, you can start typing your text in an input field, above the picture's preview. The font settings can be changed on a separate window, just like in any other application. You may select a different font, style, size and color, choose a different script and apply Strikeout or Underline effects.

The watermark can be placed on the top or bottom portions of the image or in the center. It is also possible to raise or lower its opacity level, by selecting a preset percentage or by typing one yourself. You can see how your watermark will look, directly in the preview area, if you click a button, in the top region of the interface. When you are done, you may save your picture, using a standard Save As dialog.

If you import a different picture, the application will keep your current settings. This means that you can watermark several pictures, one after another, without making the necessary settings more than once.
